We set off this morning In to hell’s gate national park. We had good weather not to hot. There was plenty of wild life on show.
We did around 18 km today the terrain was mostly flat with some hills. The last descent was sandy gullsĀ and then we had to scramble up some more sandy gulls into camp at naiburta. With some grate views across the savannah. We will be spending two nights at this camp.
Everyone is getting a early night as tomorrow we shall be entering hells gate gorge.
Gladto hear all going well. Abseil sounds hard. Bet you are looking forward to the volcanic rim! Good luck to all of you lovely and sunny this end but not quite so hot!! GO SAFELY
